During my trip to Bangkok, I’ve spent some time recording clips that I hope to create a short preview of some of the interesting things I’ve seen in this popular tourist city in Asia. Combining with the timelapse effect, I brainstormed a little of what kind of videos I want to try doing and assembling them into these short clips. In this video, I captured some of the fun performances I saw when I was in Chatuchak, one of the most popular weekend market that every tourists and locals would go. These performances had liven up the entire marketplace to a whole new level, bringing music, laughter and delicious food to everyone.

The design of its overwater bungalows are mostly in the shape of a leave, resembling palm trees. If I had a drone back then, this would make for an absolutely stunning image. I went around the island to find a good composition for a clean shot of the villas forming a beautiful alignment towards the sea.

Living in a city can frequently cause ourselves to feel a burnout. Once in a while, people travel around to get things off their mind, breathing the fresh air, meeting people and exploring new territories. I wanted to share this shot because it brought about a particular mood and feeling to it. Unlike the typical holiday photos you see, it contains no elements of buildings or houses, no traces of man-made structures or interferences.

Photo 1 of 2 – So here’s the thing. I’m getting prepared for my upcoming trip and we had lots of things to plan for. My mind can’t settle down from the excitement and I just want to get there as soon as I can. Running through the photos from my previous photo walk certainly didn’t help, and the traveling mood just keep swelling up. And then I found it. I found 2 photos from that walk, that best represent the mood I’m in, and gave that traveling feel an extra touch to it.
