The clarity in this image allowed one to view beyond and across the harbor, packed with skyscrapers all the way to the mountains far far away.
One of the most sensational experience I had was wandering around the streets of Hong Kong. This short clip follows through the footsteps of my wife, as we wandered along the harbor where tourists gathered to watch the Symphony of Light.
During my trip to Bangkok, I’ve spent some time recording clips that I hope to create a short preview of some of the interesting things I’ve seen in this popular tourist city in Asia. Combining with the timelapse effect, I brainstormed a little of what kind of videos I want to try doing and assembling them into these short clips. In this video, I captured some of the fun performances I saw when I was in Chatuchak, one of the most popular weekend market that every tourists and locals would go. These performances had liven up the entire marketplace to a whole new level, bringing music, laughter and delicious food to everyone.
Getting up close to look at the artistic sculptures made you appreciate the attention to details and the sweat sacrificed with it. It’s just beautiful. Using various techniques, I manage to get myself sturdy and made a few consecutive shots.
Since there are no manmade structures blocking or reflecting the strong rays from the sun, the entire sky would lit up with bright orange, pinkish-hues contrasting the blues in the sky.
I wouldn’t have imagined that the walk from the start of the wooden pathway to the end of it reaching the last villa would be such a long walk. While it’s painfully exhausting for guests to walk to and fro, I occassionally find it romantic to take the walk with my wife or traquil walk alone. At night time, the sky is filled with stars glittering with music in the background, as though telling you that the night is still young.
The design of its overwater bungalows are mostly in the shape of a leave, resembling palm trees. If I had a drone back then, this would make for an absolutely stunning image. I went around the island to find a good composition for a clean shot of the villas forming a beautiful alignment towards the sea.
On one of the days when we’re at Maldives, it happens to be a staff appreciation day. It’s a day for everyone, including the village chief, to participate in showing appreciation to the team behind all the hard work and preparation they had done to ensure all guests are enjoying as much as they could.
